Next up, this unscripted moment was invented by Jack Nicholson. During The Departed, he played Frank Costello. Remember when Frank sits with Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio)? Seemingly out of nowhere, we see Frank whip out a gun, pointing it at Billy. Of course, Billy reacts with complete surprise. Well, most of this surprise came because Nicholson didn’t tell DiCaprio ahead of him that he came up with this addition.

Both Chris Pine and Gal Gadot used some improvisation during their boat scene. While Pine interviewed with Entertainment Weekly, he applauded Gadot’s impressive performance. Pine said, “She’s delivering lines like, ‘My father is Zeus’ — shit that is just so ridiculous. And she has to say it with a straight face, with a certain amount of innocence and earnestness. I get to react like any human being would to hearing something as ridiculous as that. So I had it easy.”
