Sometimes, you forget about this huge 70’s sensations with all the current stars in the spotlight. It’s easy to lose track in today’s Hollywood. Over the years, some of our favorite stars from the 70’s have left the industry and gone on to lead more lowkey lives. Linda Ronstadt
Musician Linda Ronstadt famously began performing at West Hollywood’s Toubadour nightclub. Yes, you probably know her by her nicknames, the “First Lady of Rock,” or “Queen of Rock.” Over the span of her career, she won 10 Grammy Awards and had over 30 gold and platinum records. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2012 and this led to her retirement since she was no longer able to sing. Ronstadt wrote a memoir in 2013 about her experience in the spotlight called Simple Dreams: A Musical Memoir.
