Lorraine Gary
Lorraine Gary became famous for her lead role in the Spielberg classic, Jaws. After her role in the movie 1941, she decided on retirement. However, she ended up coming back out of retirement to reprise the part of Ellen Brody for Jaws: The Revenge (1987). Nowadays, she keeps busy with her charity work, such as working with the Human Rights Watch Women’s Rights Advisory Committee and the Human Rights Watch Africa Advisory Committee.
Ellen Burstyn
During the 1970’s, Ellen Burstyn was a true star. She got Oscar nominated for her performance in The Last Picture Show and then for her part in The Exorcist. Eventually, she won an Academy Award for playing Alice in Martin Scorsese’s Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore. Other notable work she’s down includes her roles in Resurrection and Requiem for a Dream. She continues to act today and you can see her in the HBO movie The Tale (2018) with Laura Dern.
