Back in 1979, Michelle Pfeiffer’s career in acting started with her playing the bombshell on the show Delta House. Only a few years after she got a lead in the musical film, Grease 2. Then a year later, she got what has become her most famous role, playing Elvira Hancock in Scarface. In addition, she’s known for her performances in Batman Returns, What Lies Beneath and Dangerous Minds.

Coming from a family involved in the industry with her father working as a drama coach and her mother modeling, it seems only natural that Diane Lane got into acting. Even with a rough childhood, she found comfort and happiness in the theater. Then her on-screen debut came with a role in A Little Romance (1979). During the 80’s she was an unstoppable force. Most recently, she plays Karen in Serenity, alongside Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway.
