The NFL player spent a jaw-dropping $35 million on this property. However, Joe Montana and his partner decided to sell the said estate after living in the villa for a while. They have since moved to a more cost effective and low key condo worth $2.3 million in the same neighborhood, near the San Francisco Marina District.

James Harrison is yet another football superstar who spent his money on a mansion, yet this time we’re in Shadyside. He bought it with wife Beth Tibbot for $1.8 million. The property was the ideal place to host parties and entertain guests. However, as the luxurious estate was built in 1994, it would require too much money and work to remodel it and make it more modern. So, James decided to sell it instead.
