Interestingly enough, “L.A. Woman” mentions “Mr. Mojo Risin’,” the fake name Morrison claimed he would use one day. Yeah, Morrison actually claimed once he got tired of the rockstar lifestyle, he would fake his death. Why Mr. Mojo Risin’? Well, that’s just an anagram for his own name, Jim Morrison.

Everyone knows The Doors had four staple members…there was Jim Morrison, lead singer, Robby Krieger who played guitar, Ray Manzarek, the keyboardist and John Densmore on the drums. Yet, the band would not hire a bassist. Why? Apparently, they didn’t want to ruin their chemistry. So instead, Ray Manzarek recreated bass lines using his keyboard.
