Two And A Half Men Actresses
Honestly, Two and a Half Men was driven by its strong female characters. From them, the audience enjoyed comedy and of course, a bit of drama. Yes, sometimes the women were a bit crazy, but come on, aren’t the men also a bit insane at times? Through Charlie and Alan’s relationships with women, we learned more about the men themselves. We saw their good and not-so-great sides. Of course, the show would not have been the same without all the talented actresses who made appearances. From Berta, Rose, and Judith to the famous Kandi (April Bowlby), and even later appearances from Jenny (Amber Tamblyn) there were so many hilarious and amazing female characters. So, let’s see where the TAAHM women have gone since the show!
Emmanuelle Vaugier (Mia)
Who could forget the dance teacher Mia who was dating Charlie and even almost married him? Emmanuelle continued acting on TV and in films after playing Mia. Perhaps, you saw her in ABC’s Mistresses as Niko or in the Sci-Fi show Lost Girl as Evony. Her more recent roles have been in the TV films Destruction Los Angeles and Washed Away. She plays Lauren in the film Masks Don’t Lie (2018). Emmanuelle Vaugier portrayed Mia, Charlie’s dance instructor and love interest, in the comedy sitcom. She was one of the many young women who had shown an interest in Charlie. Charlie enrolled Jake in dance classes as a way to bring him closer to her. Sounds like you’re stepping with ease. Of course, Charlie would say such a thing—especially when it comes to the ladies! Charlie wanted her very much, so he complied with her requests that he not smoke, drink, or eat meat on their dates.
Denise Richards (Lisa)
Before Alan was rooming with Charlie, Charlie lived with Lisa. Their on-again-off-again relationship eventually ended when he broke up with her because he ironically thought she had commitment issues. In real life, Denise Richards was married to her costar Charlie Sheen for four years. They have two daughters together but divorced in 2006. Then in 2012, Denise adopted another daughter. Her most recent project is a lead role in the comedy movie 1st Born.

Melanie Lynskey (Rose)
Out of all the women on our list, she was one of the most regular characters. Rose became a bit obsessed with Charlie after their one night stand. However, she never got to marry Charlie, her fiance, because he died. Before playing Rose, Melanie was already a star with credits like Sweet Home Alabama and Heavenly Creatures to her name. Nowadays, she focuses on TV. Her recent work includes Castle Rock, a Stephen King-inspired show, and the mini-series Sunshine.

Rose, played by Melanie Lynskey, was a relatively minor character at first, but she ended up playing a pivotal role in the comedy sitcom. For those of you who haven’t seen the show yet, this is a hint. Following Charlie’s misfortune, she hid the details from him for four years. Initially, Rose was Charlie’s stalker as well; however, as the two spent more time together, they grew to like one another and become friends. Charlie was completely smitten with her as well.
Jennifer Taylor (Chelsea Melini)
Out of all the women Charlie was dating on the show, Chelsea was the first he professed his love to! From a one-night stand to long-term dating, Charlie ended up proposed to Chelsea. Though, it wasn’t a fairy tale ending for these lovebirds. One of her recent roles includes Anne Seery for Showtime’s Shameless. She’s guest starred on NCIS and Mom alongside Anna Faris. This 45 year old woman has two kids with his husband and songwriter Paul Taylor.
Jennifer Taylor (Chelsea Melini)
The sitcom starred Jennifer Taylor as Chelsea Melini. She plays a major role. Chelsea and Charlie started awkwardly. She was the first woman to confess her feelings to Charlie. Charlie initially denied her love, but he eventually fell in love with her. Charlie’s fiancé broke his heart after breaking up with him because she was bored.

Ah, remember Evelyn, the boy’s mother? Evelyn and the boys did not have the most loving relationship. Oh and she somehow happened to keep marrying rich men who would die shortly after and leave her their money. Taylor kept acting in TV, in shows like Hollywood Mom and The Orville and recently, in Mr. Mercedes as Ida Silver. She’s dating Sarah Paulson, the actress known for starring in American Horror Story.

Her name sound familiar? Others may have remembered her fine acting in Two and a Half Men. The entertainment industry loved her before the sitcom. in the 1980s. Critics praised her sitcom performances, which earned her four nominations. Holland was dating and successful in film.
Marin Hinkle (Judith Harper-Melnick)
Next up, Alan’s first wife and mother to Jake, Judith. The two did not have the best marriage, hence, their divorce. Anyway, Marin then had the role of Isabelle in CBS’s Madam Secretary. She also played Dr. Miller in Speechless and Christine Lonas in Homeland. Most recently, you can find her in the movie Before/During/After. She’s married to theater director Randall Sommer.
Marin Hinkle (Judith Harper-Melnick)
Alan’s ex-next wife’s move? After the comedy sitcom ended in 2015, she continued acting and making a name for herself. She also enjoyed many show business ventures. She often played Mrs. Secretary in Castle. Speechless and Homeland featured her.
Courtney Thorne-Smith (Lyndsey McElroy)
Lyndsey was dating Alan on and off, starting in season seven. Actually, her son in the show was Jake’s best friend. Since playing Lyndsey, Courtney has taken some roles, including voice acting jobs. She appeared in ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat and voiced for Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken. Together with second husband, Roger Fishman, she has a son.
Courtney Thorne-Smith (Lyndsey McElroy)
Lyndsey, Alan’s on-and-off girlfriend, likes beer and is masculine. Jake’s best friend is Eldridge’s mom, Lyndsay. The kids quickly discovered their secret relationship. She vomited all over Walden’s private jet, revealing her drinking problem. Lyndsay appeared frequently and dated Alan.

Remember when Alan met Beverly through a dating site? Things got a bit awkward when Charlie walks in on Alan who is tied up. Anyway, Allison is quite the Hollywood starlet! She’s known for playing C.J. Cregg on the hit series The West Wing even before playing Beverly. Afterwards, she starred in Juno, The Girl On The Train and Hairspray. Recently, she plays Anna Faris’ alcoholic mother on Mom. Her role in Mom won her an Emmy!

Allison Janney was already a huge star before she agreed to play this role, despite having only played a guest role on the popular comedy show Two and a Half Men. Keep in mind that she had already established a stellar reputation and won numerous acting awards. These accomplishments were completed before he became a member of the cast of Two and a Half Men.
Brooke Shields (Danielle Stewart)
So Alan began dating Danielle because Charlie set them up with the hopes Alan would move out. In an odd turn of events, the brothers end up fighting over her. Brooke Shields was a well known model and actress before playing Danielle. Since TAAHM, she’s had roles in films like Furry Vengeance and The Other Guys and on the show Army Wives. Nowadays, she appears on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Shields is married to Chris Henchy, a screenwriter and producer. Together, they have two kids.

The American actress and supermodel Brooke Christa Camille Shields goes by her full name. Pretty Baby and The Blue Lagoon are two of her more well-known films, and she has also starred in several notable television series, including Suddenly Susan and Lipstick Jungle. Season 4’s “That’s Summer Sausage, Not Salami” featured her as Danielle Stewart.
Jeri Ryan (Sherri)
Again, another one of the women Charlie is dating on the show, Sherri seems to be a female version of Charlie. Afterwards, Alan is even dating her for a short time. Afterwards, Jeri acted in many TV shows. Some of her credits include, Major Crimes, Body of Proof, Leverage, Helix and recently, Amazon Prime’s Bosch. However, her most celebrated role was Borg Seven of Nine in Star Trek: Voyager. She’s been married to the French chef Christophe Eme since 2007. They have two kids.
Jeri Ryan (Sherri)
The comedic sitcom role that Jeri Ryan played was difficult. Only with her did Charlie ever play aggressively. When Charlie met Sherri, he was taken aback by her “I don’t need a guy” attitude because no one had ever rejected his charms before. Later on, however, they managed to become friends. Charlie was also successful in his pursuit of Sherri, but their relationship did not last for very long. Charlie ended things because he was unsatisfied with Sherri’s attitude.
Kimberly Williams-Paisley (Gretchen Martin)
Okay so back to Lyndsey…her fiancé Larry had a sister Gretchen. Now, you probably remember her…she was dating Alan when he went by the alter-ego ‘Jeff Strongman.’ However, all his lies cause Gretchen to leave. Before the show, Kimberly had built quite a reputation in Hollywood. Her most well-known character was alongside Steve Martin in the Father of the Bride films. She also acted in According to Jim with Courtney Throne-Smith for eight years. Her recent film The Christmas Train came out in late 2017. If you couldn’t guess by her last name, she’s married to country star Brad Paisley, and they have two kids.
Kimberly Williams-Paisley (Gretchen Martin)
Season 11 was the only season in which Kimberly Williams-Paisley appeared on the show. She played Gretchen Martin, Larry Martin’s sister. She played one of Alan’s exes in the play. It didn’t come as much of a shock. Alan had no intention of telling Gretchen the truth about who he really was until her family found out, so their relationship was built on deceit. He said he was the owner of Charlie’s house but left out the fact that he still lived with his parents. When the truth was revealed, it was time for them to part ways. Basically, she labeled him a pathological liar.

Next up, we have Walden’s ex-wife who he begs to get back together with at first. Then once he is dating Zoey, she wants him back, but he asks for a divorce. Bridget then drives her car into his house in rage. Greer has stayed very busy in Hollywood, on and off the screen. Actually, she was the casting director for the Entourage film! In addition, she voiced for FX’s Archer.

But how could we forget her role as Jennifer Garner’s best friend in 13 Going on 30 as Lucy? Not to mention she’s starring in the latest Halloween remake.
Sophie Winkleman (Zoey Hyde-Tottingham Pierce)
Of course, we had to include Zoey! Walden began dating her after his divorce from Bridget. Unfortunately, Zoey turns down Walen’s proposal and later discovers, she is dating another man. Actually, this British star is married to royalty.

Ming-Na Wen (Linda Harris)
Charlie met Linda back when Alan set up a double date. Then, later he runs into her in the courtroom when she’s his judge for a DUI. They end up dating for a bit after that. Maybe you recognized her voice from playing Disney’s Mulan! Oh, she also played a lead in ER. After TAAHM, Ming-Na played parts in Eureka and SGU Stargate Universe. Nowadays, she has the role of Melinda May on the show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Ming-Na Wen (Linda Harris)
In the story, she played the role of Charlie’s girlfriend. Her first appearance on the show was in Season 5. She played an adjunct law professor and superior court judge on the show Two and a Half Men. The collaboration between her and Charlie did not last long. Somehow, she realized that Charlie wasn’t himself. But Charlie was immediately attracted to her. She took over as Charlie’s legal counsel after he was arrested for drunk driving. After the incident, she gave him a shot, and they began a beautiful love story.
Heather Locklear (Laura)
Up next, Laura who was Alan’s divorce lawyer that also slept with Charlie. Before her role on Two and a Half Men, Locklear starred on Melrose Place as Amanda Woodward. Then, she had roles in Franklin & Bash and LAX and even Scary Movie 5. Now, she plays First Lady Katelynn Christian in Too Close to Home, a Tyler Perry series.

Heather Locker starred as Laura on the show and was a regular cast member. The TV show she appeared on featured her as Alan’s divorce attorney. Charlie said he didn’t care as long as they talked about women. He was prepared to sacrifice anything to win the heart of the woman he admired. But Laura was the wrong girl for him to try to influence. When Laura and Charlie were first separated. Alan’s divorce settlement negotiations were impacted.
Gail O’Grady (Mandi)
So Mandi was Kandi’s mother and Kandi was married to Alan. People often confused Mandi for her daughter in the show. After playing Mandi, Gail played Helen Pryor on American Dreams. In recent years, she played Ms. Fields in the horror movie Lycan, Stevie Grayson in the series Revenge and Donna Abandando in ABC’s NYPD Blue. After six marriages, this actress is taking a break from married life.

Mandy’s character on the show, Gail O’Grady, was a comic relief character. Mother Kandi’s name was Mandi. In the sitcom, Charlie was known for his keen interest in and willingness to pursue female companionship. Consistently, he attempted to make a kill shot. Those who have seen the TV comedy can attest to this. Charlie made up his mind to continue dating Mandi. Alan was not fond of Charlie having a physical relationship with his mother-in-law. Alan began dating Paula after meeting her at a club. Even though she told Alan she used to be a man, he is fine with dating her. However, the relationship doesn’t last long. Before this role, she appeared in some shoes like Californication.

Since then, she’s been in The Soul Man, Comedy Central’s Another Period and Inside Amy Schumer and recently, Mom with Anna Farris. As far as films go, she stared in The Artist and Gone Girl and the new Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle movie.

Alan was dating Donna after meeting her on the blind date that Charlie met Linda on. After Kimberly guest starred on two episodes of Two and a Half Men, she continued acting. Perhaps, you saw her as Gretchen on FX’s Terriers, Tess Masterson on ABC’s Twisted or as Holly on Netflix’s Gypsy.

Currently, she is married to the famous producer Theordore Melfi who she met in the past. Kimberly played the role of Nurse Ana in the film St. Vincent, which is one of his works, along with Hidden Figures.

During Judith and Herb’s wedding, Alan met Shannon. Though they didn’t actually date, they had a fun run. Tammy went on with her role as Detective Maggie Sullivan on The Young and the Restless after playing Shannon. Also she guest starred on Criminal Minds.

Maggie played the part of the social worker, Ms. McMartin that is assigned to Alan and Walden when they adopt Louis. Before this role, she was known for playing Detective Juliet O’Hara on Psych. After Maggie appeared in the final season of TAAHM, she played Allison in the show Angel from Hell and Rachel in The Great Indoors.

Krista landed her breakout role in Days of Our Lives as Billie Reed, long before TAAHM. Her acting credits include, The Final Destination and Adam Sandler’s Anger Management, among others.

Teri Hatcher (Liz)
Meet Liz, Judith’s sister who ended up with Charlie in a coat closet at Alan and Judith’s wedding. However, she did not remember him. Anyway, Teri Hatcher got the role of a lifetime after TAAHM. She played Susan Mayer on Desperate Housewives for eight years.

Surprisingly, Cindy was the one woman that Charlie could not get into bed. She even becomes very close with Judith over time. Before this role, Kristin was famous for her role as Yola Gaylen in The Chris Isaak Show. Then, she guest starred on some episodes of the hilarious Grounded for Life.

Also she was Detective Barbara Gianna in Dexter. Her recent role was the star Maddie Harmon in the movie How to Get Rid of A Body (and still be friends).

At first, Liz played Kate who was dating Charlie after meeting him at Jake’s soccer game. Then, she also played the dermatologist Michelle in season eight, who was also dating Charlie. Now, she plays Gillian Hunt in the sci-fi show Riley Parra. However, before that role, she was Nikki Beaumont in the short-lived TV show Nikki & Nora: The N&N Files. Though, she’s best known for playing Wendy Simms on CSI for five years.

Paget played Jamie who the men knew from childhood. Unfortunately, they had teased her for being overweight so years later, she is not so quick to forgive them. She happily rejects their advances. Rachel played the girlfriend Charlie always wanted to be rid of…until she begins dating the handyman played by Enrique Iglesias. You probably have seen Rachel Cannon on a ton of things. She’s acted in shows like The Big Bang Theory, Mad Men, Ghost Whisperer and Underemployed. Sadly, she’s mostly had small roles.

Her most recent role was as Deidre, which she has played for the past two years on the television show Fresh of the Boat, which airs on ABC.
Sara Rue (Naomi)
So Berta’s daughter comes to her mother jobless and pregnant. Naomi is even dating Alan for a bit before running off with her baby’s biological father. You can find Sara in lots of shows like Bones, Impastor and Mom with Anna Faris. Before this role, she was known for playing Carmen Ferrara in Popular and also as Claude Casey in Less Than Perfect.

Both “Pearl Harbor” and “The Ring” were movies in which she had roles. She is currently starring as the Librarian in the Netflix original series A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Stephany Jacobsen (Penelope)
Just after Walden buys Charlie’s house, Penelope shows up looking for him. Anyway, before this small role, she was known for playing Charlotte Adams on Home and Away, in addition to playing Kendra Shaw in Battlestar Galactica: Razor. Then in 2009, she played Lauren Yung for a year on Melrose Place.
Stephany Jacobsen (Penelope)
She also appeared in Star-Crossed and Revenge before taking a hiatus from the entertainment industry for a period of four years. However, her most recent movie is a science fiction film called Occupation (2018).
Jaime Pressly (Tammy)
In season ten, Tammy a mother of three dates Jake despite a large age gap. Actually, Jamie Pressly has been in many hit movies like Not Another Teen Movie and I Love You, Man. Nowadays, she’s invested in television. From 2011 until 2013 she played Annie Watson in I Hate My Teenage Daughter.

Missi begins dating Jake when he’s home for a weekend from the Army, but then she reveals she is dating someone else. Of course, we don’t need to tell you who superstar Miley Cyrus is! Obviously, she rose to fame on Disney with Hannah Montana. Nowadays, she’s got many awards and nominations to her name for her singing career. Her latest album is called Younger Now.

Cyrus portrays Missi, the daughter of one of Walden’s longtime friends (“short for Mississippi—the river, not the state”). When she visits to weigh the pros and cons of making the move to Los Angeles, Walden offers him a place to stay for a few days and finds himself alternately annoyed and attracted to the talkative, voluptuous teenager. He assumes their attraction is mutual until Missi admits she wants to set him up with her mom.

Next, we’re taking you back to season one for Prudence. She’s Berta’s granddaughter that Charlie, Alan and even Jake crush on. Since then, Megan Fox’s career has skyrocketed. In two years, she played Sydney Shanowski in Hope & Faith and then Mikaela Banes in Transformers.

Of course, we had to include the famous Berta! Cynical but loving, everyone adored her and especially for her teasing of the men. Then, Waldo also hires her as his housekeeper. Unsurprisingly, this is her most famous role. However, Conchata has also played Aunt Dorothy in the Christmas horror movie Krampus with Adam Scott.

She currently plays the role of Shirley in The Ranch. Ferrell has a child with his wife, Arnie Anderson, who is also an actor. the couple has a daughter together.

Do you remember Alan’s old secretary who was dating Charlie for some time before dating Alan? Before playing Melissa, Kelly voiced Will Vandom in W.I.T.C.H. She played Rachel in Horrible Bosses 2, alongside Charlie Day and Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis. Oh and she played Eden in The Exes show for four years.

Remember Kandi who married Alan in Vegas? They eventually broke up, but April Bowlby has continued her career in Hollywood. Since the show, she has had some small roles in popular shows such as, Mom and The Big Bang Theory. More recently, she worked on the comedy horror Love Me or Else.
