Pets are the light and love of our lives. Sometimes they do some really whacked things, but we have to admit that they feel really bad about it afterwards. These dogs, cats, birds and others all made it onto this pet shaming list because they have done some truly unspeakable things! We’re talking about more than just chewing the TV remote or stealing a neglected hot dog; think more along the lines of feeding us mice in the middle of our beauty sleeps, and dining on our cosmetics.
We’ve seen hilarious animal snapchats, ridiculous animal photobombs, and unexpected pet selfies. But we have never seen a compilation of pet shaming photos taken by these animals’ owners. Even if they were really mad at the time, making the sign must have been just as hilarious for them as it is for us, the readers. If only we’d all started doing this a long time ago; we would have had a collection of pet shaming laughs for miles and miles.
Some of the things my dog has done has really made me wonder what was going through his mind. Was he intentionally punishing me for something I wasn’t aware of? Did he really take it so hard when I didn’t let him drink from my chocolate milkshake? Or was it that time that I refused to let him continue chewing on the corner of our new rocking chair? Either way, pooping on my slippers just before I got out of bed and slipped my feet into them, definitely made me suspicious. But after all of the frustration and anger goes away, you have to admit that you can’t help but love your pet even more. They really feel guilty and you will be able to see that clearly in this gallery of embarrassed pets.
If you have a dog or a cat, or any kind of pet that gets up to mischief when you’ve got your back turned, it’s probably worth having a camera at the ready. Get a pen and a piece of paper and document what the little guy or gal got up to. Before you know it your pet might become an internet sensation.
