‘JAG’ Stars: Where Are They Now?

We all remember JAG, which came before the famous NCIS. So, if you’re missing Harm, Mac and the rest of the gang, you’ve come to the right place. Thanks to the show’s creator, Dan Bellisario, we enjoyed 10 lovely season, but it’s time to look back at this show, which was canceled in 2005. Let’s see where the stars ended up and who is dating who! In case you need some background, the amazing show JAG aired from 1995 until 2005. We still miss it to this day. It remains one of television’s most influential shows. So with plenty of time since that dramatic series finally with the coin flip determining where Harm and Mac would end up, we thought we would check back in with the stars. After their time on JAG, it’s time to see where they flew off to!

JAG stands for Judge Advocate General, which essentially tells you the essence of the show. Yes, it revolved around criminal activity and how the justice system handles it. Well, more specifically, JAG was about the judicial court in reference to America’s navy. We watched characters like Mac, or more formally, Sarah McKenzie (played by Catherine Bell) and Harmon Rabb or Harm (played by David James Elliott) as they worked their way up in the military legal system. Of course, Mac and Harm also had a steamy romance! So, long before NCIS, the spin off series, we were lucky to enjoy ten amazing seasons of JAG. And what a glorious ten seasons they were! Between the writing and amazing cast, the show was destined for success. Perhaps, that’s why fans cannot stop talking about reboots and a possible film. Sadly, many of the actors and actresses have said that a reboot really would not do the series justice. Thus, while we cannot promise any new JAG productions, we are able to tell you where your favorite stars wound up. Of course, we need to catch you up on huge stars like Catherine Bell and David James Elliott and even Karri Turner. You may be surprised to hear who quit acting, who continued working in Hollywood and all those cast members you totally forgot got their big break on the show! Yes, we will also confirm who is still dating and who got married to which costar. Also, some of these huge stars you may have totally forgotten were in the show. Now, let’s see where everyone ended up after their big role on JAG!

David James Elliot

From playing Captain Harmon, aka Harm, on JAG, Elliot then starred in The Man Who Lost Himself with wife and JAG costar, Nanci Chambers.

Afterwards, this talented actor starred in Canadian shows like, Close to Home and The Guard. You can also find Elliot in CSI and Trumbo as John Wayne.

Patrick Labyorteaux

Once he was done playing Captain Bud, Patrick continued acting and even voicing cartoons. You can hear him on Spider-Man:

The Animated Series. He and his wife, Tina Albanese, created and produced See Dad, a Nick at Nite show. Luckily for fans, he reprised Bud for NCIS on two occassions.

John M. Jackson

Ah, the loyal Rear Admiral A.J., but at least we saw him on NCIS: Los Angeles, the spin-off show!

One of his more recent roles was in the movie, Gifted alongside Jenny Slate and Chris Evans. So, if you haven’t watched the movie yet, get on it!

Karri Turner

Playing Lt. Harriet Sims is not all the talented Karri Turner can do! Actually, she’s a traveling comedian that performed for the American troops with Michael McDonald and Kathy Griffin.

She’s done over 13 USO tours! Anyway, she’s also continued acting. She had roles in the movie Hurricane in the Rose Garden and a few episodes of Heroes.

Chuck Carrington

Ah, the handsome Petty Officer First Class Jason Tiner! Well, it broke all our hearts in season nine when he left to go to Officer Candidate School.

That wasn’t the end of Carrington’s acting though. After, he played Renny Jacobsen in the movie, The List. Also he was Dan as a guest role on Shameless.

Scott Lawrence

After Lawrence’s role as Commander Strugris, his acting career continued to flourish. He was a crew chief in the hit film, Avatar and Maurice in The Social Network.

In the eighth season of NCIS, Lawrence made an appearance. In addition, he was in Star Trek: Into Darkness and Star Trek: Voyager.

Zoe McLellan

Immediately after playing Petty Officer Jen, this star moved to Dirty Sexy Money on ABC. Like other former JAG stars, McLellan found herself on NCIS:

Zoe McLellan

New Orleans in the role of Meredith Brody. She’s appeared on many shows like, The Mentalist, House and Designated Survivor.

Randy Vasquez

We said goodbye to Gunner Sergeant Victor Galindez, but luckily, Randy Vasquez has stayed active in Hollywood.

In addition to acting, he directed the 2005 comedy/drama, Perceptions. Of course, he appeared in CSI: Miami. However, one of his bigger roles since JAG, was playing Dep D.A. Lou Escobar for Bosch.

Trevor Goddard

Sadly, when remembering Lt. Commander Michael Brumby or Mic, we have to reflect on the actor Trevor Goddard, as well.

Unfortunately, Goddard died of a drug overdose in June 2003. He was just 40 years old. His final acting credit was in the film, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

Steven Culp

Once Culp finished playing Mr. Clayton Webb, he moved on to many other shows. Maybe you saw him guest star in shows like, The West Wing, 24 or NCIS. However, most know him as Desperate Housewives‘s Rex Van de Kamp.

He’s married with with two kids. Sadly, Culp’s half sister was murdered with her family back in 2006. They did convict the two men responsible just a month after the murder.

Nanci Chambers

In JAG, she was Lt. Loren Singer. After dating David James Elliot for some time, they married in 1992. Both Chambers and Elliot are big environmentalists.

In fact, they were in Ecuador learning about the rain forests and tribes. You may have seen Nanci on The Stranger I Married or Save our Souls.

Paul Collins

Remember Alexander Nelson, former Sec of the Navy? Well, you can also see Paul Collins on everything from Boston Legal and The West Wing to Sons of Anarchy.

In Guiding Light, he played Tyler Meade and he appeared in movies like, Evan Almighty and Montana Amazon.

Michael Angelo Bellisario

Many did not know this, but Midshipman Third Class Michael Roberts, Mikey, is played by Michael Bellisario, the show creator’s son.

After his JAG role, he played a lab assistant on NCIS. He was in some episodes of Quantum Leap. His half sister, Troian Avery Bellisario, plays Spencer on ABC’s Pretty Little Liars.

Cindy Ambuehl

Cindy Ambuehl played Renee Peterson on JAG. She kept acting after playing Peterson.

In fact, you can see her on The Bold and the Beautiful. Another update for her, she’s no longer dating. Well, that’s because she married the actor Don Diamonet. They have twin boys.

Harrison Page

From playing Rear Admiral Stiles Morris, this actor switched gears to star in the show, Players at the Poker Palace.

Of course, Page has appeared in lots of other television shows like, Grey’s Anatomy. Nowadays, he’s married to Christina Giles. They have a kid together.

Jennifer Savidge

Of course, Savidge played Commander Amy Helfman on JAG. Also, you may know she married Robert Fuller in 2001.

Well before playing Helfman, she was Nurse Lucy on St. Elsewhere. Clearly, Savidge has had lots of successful years on TV. Anyway, after JAG, many celebrated her role as Ruth Taylor on American Crime.

Tracey Needham

We saw Needham play Megan Austin or Meg during JAG‘s first season. From there, she played Inspector Candace DeLorenzo on the show, The Division.

Well years before JAG, she had the role of Paige on Life Goes On. After the show, she’s had parts in Veronica Mars and the film The Last Harbor. Now, she’s married to Tommy Hinkley, and they have a daughter.

Anne-Marie Johnson

Johnson used to play Congresswoman Roberta Latham, aka Bobbi. This actress made history in 2005 when she became the first ever National VP of the Screen Actors Guild.

Of course, she played a part on NCIS, but she also appeared on show like, Pretty Little Liars, Boston Legal, Grey’s Anatomy and That’s So Raven. Recently, she starred in Murder in the First and Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later.

Isabella Hofmann

Wondering about Professor Meredith Cavanaugh from the latter seasons? Well, we got you covered! Naturally, she has a guest role in the spin-off, NCIS.

Then in Supergirl, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, she played Clarissa Stein. Back in the 90’s, she was dating Daniel Baldwin and they had a son, Atticus, together.

David Andrews

After playing Biff or Major General Gordon Cresswell on JAG, David Andrews appeared in lots of shows.

You can see his guest appearances on shows like Crisis, How to Get Away with Murder and Brothers & Sisters. Also, he was Sec. Frommer in The Whispers.

Hallee Hirsh

Maybe you forgot that Hallee Hirsh was Mattie Grace Johnson back during the JAG days. Of course, now she’s celebrated for playing Rachel on ER. Once she finished with JAG and ER, Hirsh starred on Flight 29 Down.

She also acted in the movie, Speak alongside Kristen Stewart. Now, she resides with her husband and son in North Carolina.

W.K. Stratton

After playing Commander Ted Lindsey, Stratton’s credits have slowed down a bit.

The only role after JAG was voicing the character Walla in Transformers: The Game. However, fans still remember his pre-JAG roles like on Quantum Leap. He’s married to Maureen Denise Lacoste.

Zuhair Haddad

Jordanian American actor Zuhair Haddad played Anwar Sahaj on JAG. Now, his list of credits runs long, including voicing for cartoons and games like, American Dad! and Assassin’s Creed.

In addition, Haddad had roles in The Hangover Part III, The Pursuit of Happyness and The Scorpion King. On the show, The Affair, he plays Abdul Ullah.

Rif Hutton

Once Hutton finished with his role as Lt. Commander Alan Mattoni, he could not be stopped. Honestly, we cannot list all his credits. To name some, he was in shows like, Cold Case, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, That’s So Raven, Criminal Minds and CSI.

Before JAG, he was Dr. Ron Welch on Doogie Howser, M.D.. Recently, his credits include SEAL Team, Bosch and Cowboy & Indiana.

John DeMita

Once DeMita finished playing Colonel Clifford Blakely, he voiced for many shows. You can hear him on Hunter x Hunter, Naruto, Dragon Ball Super and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

More recently, he was on Flight of Passage, NCIS and the TV film, Michael Jackson’s Halloween. He’s married to actress Julia Fletcher, and they have two children.

Matt Sigloch

Hey, he wasn’t just Master Sergeant Tom Androvich on JAG! Actually, he helped behind the scenes in his role as Military Technical Advisor because of his extensive military background. Now, Sigloch has his own company called Sigloch Military-Tactical.

Thus, he’s been able to assist with tactics on show like, American Horror Story, Criminal Minds, Scandal and Rosewood.

Jeff MacKay

Unfortunately, MacKay, JAG‘s Big Bud Roberts, died in 2008 when he was 59 years old. The last acting credit MacKay had was in December as Larry Carter.

Fans still remember his role as Mac on the show, Magnum, P.I.. Additionally, MacKay has recurring roles on The Greatest American Hero, Black Sheep Squadron and Battlestar Galactica. Also, he voiced Fireflight for Transformers.

Jade Carter

On JAG, he was Sergei Zhukov. Afterwards, Carter continued acting in shows. He was Tripp Steves on Solo: The Series and Ethan Impersonator on Passions.

Although, he’s had plenty of guest appearances like on NCIS and Castle. Recently, Carter had the role of Brent in Love or War.

Dean Stockwell

After Dean Stockwell played Senator Edward Sheffield on JAG, he starred in numerous other shows and movies.

You can find him in Entertainment, Deep in the Darkness and Battlestar Galactica as Brother Cavil. Perhaps, you recognized Stockwell from his role as Al Calavicci on Quantum Leap.

John D’Aquino

He played Stuart Dunston on JAG. Afterwards, D’Aquino has appeared on shows like, Dexter, Hannah Montana and NCIS.

If you’ve seen Cory in the House on Disney, you recognize him as President Richard Martinez. More recently, this star got the role of Harris Smith on In Sanity, Florida.

Terry O’Quinn

On JAG, he was Admiral Thomas Boone, but now Terry O’Quinn is more famous for playing John Locke on Lost.

Maybe you also remember O’Quinn’s roles as General Nicholas Alexander on The West Wing or Joe White on Hawaii Five-O. Did you know he also plays Howard Hargrave on The Blacklist: Redemption? Wow, JAG really did wonders for this actor!

Kevin Fry

A short role as Commander Morton on the show seemed to have really helped Kevin Fry’s acting career.

In addition to a starring on a few episodes of Scandal, Fry made a name for himself on 24 as Kevin. However, he also appeared in 300: Rise of an Empire, Sons of Anarchy and Taken 3 as the bodyguard.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan

During JAG, Jeffrey Dean Morgan was the CIA technician named Wally.

Now, everyone knows this amazing actor for playing John Winchester in the hit show, Supernatural. Of course, we can’t forget his role as the beloved Denny on Grey’s Anatomy. Again, he’s receiving praise for his role in The Walking Dead as Negan. Is there anything this talented man can’t do?

Dana Sparks

Once she finished playing Lt. Commander Carolyn Imes, this actress went on to play Grace Bennett in Passions.

In addition, she played a small part in Atlas Shrugged II: The Strike. Before her role on JAG, she was in shows like, Melrose Place, Cover Up, L.A. Law and Falcon Crest. Sparks is also the former Executive Director of Regenerate Films. Now, she’s a board member and also producer.

A.J. Tannen

Tannen played Lt Alfred Aldridge. After that role, he continued acting and also producing. He’s been on New Girl and Transparent.

He’s also Franc Thomas Jr. in the film, The Darkness. Also, Tannen appeared on Silicon Valley. Tannen is Ben in the film, Variant.

Cynthia Sikes

It didn’t take long for Cynthia Sikes to move on from JAG‘s Dr. Sidney Walden to playing Zara Costelana on The Young and the Restless.

Walden was A.J.’s love interest, but those days are long gone. Perhaps, you saw Sikes as Betty Goodale for Aquarius. She also had a role in the movie, Going Shopping. Have you seen the 2017 Blade Runner 2049? Well, she was a producer on it.

Corbin Bernsen

Once Bernsen was done playing Captain Owen on JAG, he moved on to play Harlan Dexter in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Then, he played General Hospital‘s John Durant. Also, he was Henry Spencer on Psych and Father Todd Williams on The Young and the Restless. Oh, did we mention he founded Team Cherokee Productions, his own production company? So, now he’s a producer, writer and actor.

Chris Beetem

Chris Beetem had the role of Lt. Gregory Vukovic on JAG, but then this actor/director moved on to play Dan in Emelie.

Additionally, he’s had roles on Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer. He’s acted in One Tree Hill, Pan Am and As the World Turns. Maybe you saw Beetem on USA’s Royal Pains.

Matthew Josten

Remember the adorable A.J. Roberts from the show? Well, Josten has grown into a fine actor and producer since those days.

Besides acting on screen, he voiced Kirby for Chicken Little and Goob for Meet the Robinsons. In Rodney, Josten played Bo Hamilton. Also, he was Nick Hope in White River Tales.

Susan Haskell

After playing Jordi, you know Lt. Commander Jordan Parker, Haskell hasn’t been as busy in Hollywood. Well, this Canadian actress has had some roles though.

She played Dr. Marty Saybrooke in One Life to Live, as well as a small role in The Good Shepherd. Well, fans will remember her best for that fabulous role as Dr. Marty.

Mae Whitman

Who, her? Yeah, Arrested Development fans cannot see Mae Whitman without thinking of her character, Anne. Anyway, before those days, she was JAG‘s Chloe Madison.

In addition, she’s Amber Holt on the show, Parenthood. However, that’s not all. She was Rosie Weston on HBO’s In Treatment and Mary Elizabeth in the movie, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Whitman voices for Family Guy as well.

Andrea Thompson

After her role as Commander Alison Krennick, she played Nicole Duncan in season three of 24.

Then, she guest starred on four episodes of the show, Heroes: Destiny. Actually, she also worked as a CNN reporter for a time, but then went back to acting.

Scott Paulin

During JAG, fans knew Paulin as Captain Johnson. Nowadays, Paulin is married to fellow actress Wendy Phillips with one kid. After playing Captain Johnson, he went on to guest star in shows like, Boston Legal, Lost,CSI, and you guessed it, NCIS.

His recent roles include, as Jim Beckett in Castle and Dr. Botnik in The Young and the Restless.

Tamlyn Tomita

On JAG, she was Lt. Commander Tracy Manetti. Afterwards, like other costars, she joined the cast of 24 for the second season. Shortly after, she played Janet Tokada in The Day After Tomorrow and Giselle in General Hospital.

Maybe you saw Tomita as Noshiko Yukimura on Teen Wolf. Also, before JAG, she starred in The Karate Kid Part II.

Alex Kuznetsov

Since playing Captain Alex Volkonov or Alexander, this actor has been really busy. You can hear him on the game, Call of Duty: Finest Hour, and he was in season five of 24 as Ostroff.

However, he’s best known for parts in Space Cowboys and The Bourne Supremacy. You can also see him in the show Insomnia as Oleg.

Larry Poindexter

Once his role as JAG‘s Dalton Lowne ended, he went on to play Dr. Asher Thomas on General Hospital. After that, he was Agent Ray Collins in Blade: The Series.

We can’t forget his role as Dean in the movie, 17 Again with Zac Efron. Also, he was Rick Berger in the show, The Hard Times of RJ Berger. Also in Days Of Our Lives, he was Father Louis.

Peter Murnik

He was Clark Palmer for JAG. Maybe you also know Murnik as Justified‘s Trooper Tom Bergen. Or perhaps, you recognize him as Hershel Jenkins from Granite Flats.

In The Mist, he plays the part of Mike Copeland. Surely, you’ve seen the Netflix hit show, Mindhunter! Well, he’s Detective Carver on that show.

Trisha Yearwood

Next up, Lt. Commander Teresa Coulter! Of course, since Trisha Yearwood married singer Garth Brook back in 2005, it makes sense why she has shifted some of her focus to music.

Well, she did play Mary in the television film, The Passion. Also, she produced six episodes for her show, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen. Apparently, this woman does it all!

Richard McGonagle

From playing Captain Richard Carey on JAG, this actor went on to voice characters like General Grievous for Star Wars: Clone Wars.

In addition, he voice for Avatar: The Last Airbender, Ben 10 and Cartoon Network’s The Regular Show. If you saw 500 Days of Summer, you heard McGonagle as the narrator voice!

Francesco Quinn

During the JAG days, he was Kabir Atef. People also celebrated this actor’s Oscar winning father, actor Anthony Quinn.

After playing Kabir, Francesco played 24‘s terrorist Syed Ali during the second season. Additionally, this actor lent his voice to video games. Perhaps, you saw him in the Quentin Tarantino movie, Hell Ride. Unfortunately, the talented Francesco passed away in 2011.

Andrea Parker

Lt. Caitlin Pike, called Kate for short, was played by the lovely Andrea Parker on JAG. After that, Parker moved on to the role of Lydia Weston on Less Than Perfect.

Next, she was on Desperate Housewives as Jane Carlson. That’s not it though, she also played both Jessica DiLaurentis and Mary Drake on ABC’s Pretty Little Liars.

Bernard White

White’s performance as Sadik Fahd was definitely memorable. However, most people recognize him best as American Dreamz‘s Agha Babur.

In both The Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions, Bernard White was Rama-Kandra. More recently, you can catch him on the hit show, Silicon Valley.

Glenn Morshower

Although he did an outstanding job as Chief Petty Officer Ned Bannon for the show, now everyone knows Glenn Morshower for another role.

That’s right, we’re talking about his role as 24‘s Aaron Pierce. In addition, he was Mike Chysler on the iconic show, The West Wing. Morshower was Chad Clarke on Friday Night Lights. Recently, you can find him playing General Sam Lane on Supergirl and Warren Hobbs in I’m Dying Up Here.

Dylan Neal

After Dylan Neal portrayed Lt. Dalton Jones or Boomer on JAG, he continued to have success with TV roles.

Maybe you saw him as Aaron Jacobs on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch or as Doug Witter for Dawson’s Creek. As far as his later work goes, we can turn to his role as Jack Griffith on Cedar Cove or as Dr. Anthony Ivo on Arrow.

Sam Hennings

A lot of time has passed since we watched Sam Hennings as Captain Huddleston on the show.

Perhaps, you’ve caught a glimpse of this actor on other shows such as, ER, Castle, Cold Case or Eleventh Hour. On Memphis Beat, Hennings has the role of Charlie White.

Will Rothhaar

Aw, remember when Will Rothhaar was the adorable Josh Pendry? Now, this actor is quite the professional since his days on JAG. Fans adored him as Dennis for the holiday film, Jack Frost.

Also, this actor appeared on shows like, Castle, Memphis Beat and CSI. He was also Junior Agent on Workshop and Josh Brannan in the show Last Resort. Now, get this…he played infamous assassin Lee Harvey Oswald for the TV movie Killing Kennedy.

Shashawnee Hall

Shashawnee Hall was Agent Marvin Novack on our beloved show. Nowadays, he not just an amazing actor, but also a celebrated producer. Anyway, like other stars from the show, he appeared on the spinoff, NCIS.

Additionally, Hall has featured in the following shows, The Closer, Lie to Me and Medium. This actor starred in the movies Bruce Almighty and Evan Almighty. Also you may have seen him as Paul Bodner on the television show, Life.

Ned Vaughn

Do you recall when Ned Vaughn was Lt. Carl Barrett for JAG? Since then, he’s become quite famous in the industry for playing Mitch Anderson, the mercenary and former Air Force Officer, on 24‘s fourth season.

He’s also been in in shows like, Commander in Chief and Cane.

Montel Williams

Are you surprised to see Montel Williams on our list? Well, he did have the role of Lt. Curtis Rivers on the show.

Surely, we do not need to tell you where this star has been seen JAG. Of course, we all know he’s most famous for his show, The Montel Williams Show. Obviously, he’s done quite well for himself since the show!

Meta Golding

Things have gone well for Meta Golding in Hollywood ever since she played Lt. Tali Mayfield on JAG. Maybe you know her as Jordan Todd on Criminal Minds or as Tina Brewster on CSI. In addition, Golding acted on Day Break and Dark Blue.

However, if you’re talking more recently, she was Noa for the television show, Colony.

Patrick St. Esprit

Of course, we don’t fault you if you forget that Patrick St. Esprit played Colonel Bootney. It’s been a while since JAG. Nowadays, this actor has lots on his resume.

He’s been in lots of shows like Sons of Anarchy and even HBO’s Ballers. Esprit was in the films, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and The Fate of the Furious. Oh and how could we forget he was Major Wysession on the critically acclaimed Narcos!

John Prosky

John Prosky has had roles in hit show after hit show. It all started when he was Jon Barrow for JAG.

Now, most know him from True Blood on HBO where he played David Finch. However, if you’re a fan of Medium, you recognize him as Tom Van Dyke. Also, he was Senator Gibson on Scandal, Shonda Rhimes’ award winning show.

Mark Costello

Costello played Commander Onclay on JAG. Since then, Costello has kept very busy.

To recap some of his work, he acted in the show General Hospital and appeared on numerous shows like, Chris Rock’s Everybody Hates Chris, Criminal Minds and The West Wing. Not too shabby.

Bill Cobbs

Unfortunately, JAG had to come to an end, which meant that Bill Cobbs needed to move on from his role as Chaplain Matthew Turner.

Afterwards, he was Tony on the hysterical The Drew Carey Show, in addition to appearing on many other shows and films. Maybe you saw him as Reginald alongside Ben Stiller in Night at the Museum. Have you seen the show Fly with Tatyana Ali from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air? Well, Cobbs plays Vernon Wyatt or Pop on the show!

Chas. Floyd Johnson

Now, we know this actor played Dr. Bruce Gasden on JAG, but did you realize he also co-produced many of the episodes for the show?

Well, that makes sense to know that considering he became an executive producer for NCIS. Also he got married and has one kid.

John Eric Bentley

JAG‘s Cayuga Weps was played by none other than John Eric Bentley. Many know the actor for his parts in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, The Last of Us and Resident Evil: Extinction.

In addition, he lent his voice to video games like, Call of Duty: Black Ops II. You can also watch Bentley on the eighth season of 24.

Tim Lounibos

Playing the role of Lt. Peter Yuen was far from Tim Lounibos’ last part in Hollywood.

In fact, Lounibos moved from JAG to plenty of other celebrated shows. He guest starred on shows like, Passions, General Hospital and The West Wing.

Mary Page Keller

Once Mary Page Keller finished playing Beth O’Neill for JAG, things continued to pick up for her.

I mean she’s been in everything from NYPD Blue, Commander in Chief, Chasing Life to Bosch! Let’s not forget she also appeared on ABC’s Pretty Little Liars.

Rex Linn

Next up, Rex Linn who was Major Mark Sokol or better known on JAG as Falcon. Once Linn finished the show, he continued to pursue acting.

Maybe you saw him as Coach Bricker in the film Cheaper by the Dozen alongside Steve Martin. He was Karl Vasick on the show The Fugitive and Frank Tripp for CSI: Miami. In the critically acclaimed Tarantino filme, Django Unchained, he was Tennessee Harry.

Cliff De Young

On the show, Cliff played Chuck DePalma. Afterwards, he acted in many films and television shows.

He had the role of John Ramsey for the film, Getting Away with Murder: The JonBenet Ramsey Mystery. Also he was Agent John Bonacheck for The Young and the Restless. Maybe you saw him with Denise Richards and Mike Tyson in the comedy, Reality Queen!

Dan Lauria

Years ago, this man had the role of Allen Balisdell on JAG. Since then, he’s been very busy acting in numerous productions. Maybe you caught him as Richard Vessey for Ed. He’s also appeared on, How I Met Your Mother, Grey’s Anatomy and Criminal Minds.

However, his big role was as Jack Sullivan for Sullivan & Sons. In Pitch, he was Al Luongo. Again, he is in the show Fly with Tatyana Ali. He plays CFO Clayton Millbanks.

Daphne Ashbrook

Alright, see if you can recall Ashbrook’s role as Annie Pendry! Daphne Ashbrook continued acting, like many of her former costars from the show.

Maybe you saw her as Dawn Atwood on The O.C. Let’s not forget her role as Jackie Kowalski for Hollywood Heights.

Michael Saad

So, actor Michael Saad is really best known for the role he had on JAG. Maybe you recall, Saad played General Hasan Abdullah.

In addition, he was Sheriff Joe for the film, Road to Red. Saad has had some small parts like in the shows, Las Vegas and season two of 24.

Tony Denison

Once Denison got to demonstrate his superb acting abilities on JAG as Commander Stefan Stefanopoulos, the rest was history.

Yes, he is indeed the actor behind Aldo Burrows from Prison Break. However, he’s best known for playing Andy Flynn on The Closer. Fans were ecstatic that he reprised the role for Major Crimes.

Steve Rankin

Back during JAG, he played Admiral Mark Tucci. Rankin landed plenty of roles since like as Lloyd Blankenship for Veronica Mars and as Sgt.

Hendrix on Malcolm in The Middle. Many probably realized that as he was playing Tucci, he was also Rafe’s father in the film, Pearl Harbor. Also, he had the role of a detective in the film Jersey Boys. He’s still acting too!

Allan Kolman

Although you may not remember Kolman’s role as Alexei, he continued to act in many of your favorite shows and films.

Kolman was in shows like, Scandal, The West Wing and Entourage. The last acting credit was in the show The Mentalist with Simon Baker. However, there hasn’t been much since 2012 for Kolman.

Aysia Polk

Do you remember her role as Dar-Lin Lewis? Unfortunately, Polk’s time on JAG was some of her last in Hollywood.

The adorable child actress decided to leave the big screen behind her. However, after JAG, she did land roles in other hit shows like as Angela Walker in American Dreams and as Taylor in HBO’s Six Feet Under.

Joan Pringle

During JAG, we knew her as Agent Mary Holland. A lot of time has passed since those days though. Now, she’s better known as Sara from the movie, Original Sin.

Her other roles include playing Eunice Barnes on the TV show One on One, as well as playing Carol Hart for Girlfriends. Her most recent acting credit was in 2014 when she was in Being Mary Jane.

Craig Kirkwood

Back in the 90’s, Craig Kirkwood was a real star. Maybe you forgot that he was Sean Stiles on JAG. However, everyone remembers him as Rev or Jerry Harris in the classic movie, Remember the Titans. In addition, Kirkwood appeared on shows like Sister, Sister, Family Matters and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Then in 2006, he decided he would leave Hollywood to earn his law degree. Nowadays, he’s a practicing criminal defense attorney in Los Angeles.

Adria Tennor

Of course, her role as Laurie June for JAG was not Tennor’s last in the industry. Sure, she landed some guest appearances on big shows like, Scandal, The Mindy Project and Mulaney. On Mad Men, she had the recurring role of Joyce Darling.

Then, Tennor was cast as Professor Clarissa Hawn on the show Greek. Her film credits include, Adam Sandler’s You Don’t Mess With The Zohan and The Artist, among others.

Larry Manetti

After finishing the various guest roles on JAG, Manetti continued to appear in film and TV.

On Hawaii Five-O he played Nicky Demarco, aka ‘The Kid.’ Sure, like other former costars, Larry Manetti’s big break came with his appearance on Magnum, P.I. before he ever appeared on JAG. Nowadays, he’s married to fellow actress Nancy DeCarl, who also appeared on Magnum, P.I. and also Battlestar Galactica.

Christina Pickles

Of course, Christina Pickles is better known as Judy Geller from Friends than as JAG‘s Trish. Pickles is not just a traditional actress, she’s also done extensive voice work for video games and animated shows. Actually, this star has even voiced for Family Guy.

However, most people know her for her performances on Another World and Guiding Light. Now, she’s married to Ian Masters. Masters is a documentary filmmaker and BBC journalist.

Ned Schmidtke

Perhaps, you forgot about Ned Schmidtke since he had such a small part on JAG as Congressman Harold Fetzer. Since then you have definitely seen this veteran actor on films or television. In the hysterical film, Wedding Crashers, Schmidtke played Frank Meyers.

Maybe you caught him as Bishop White on Days of Our Lives or as Terry Cavanaugh on Medium. More recently, he had the role of Dr. Blackwell for the television series, Code Black.

Vicellous Shannon

Before this actor was Midshipman Kevin Dupree for JAG, he had an even bigger role. Yes, that’s right, Shannon played Keith Palmer, son of President David Palmer, on the second season of 24.

After those roles, Shannon played Aaron James for CSI. Of course, he has also enjoyed plenty of guest roles on series like, Sons of Anarchy and Bones. Not to mention, he starred alongside Donnie Wahlbery, James Franco and Tyrese Gibson in the movie Annapolis.

Jordana Spiro

Spiro only had the role of Catherine Graves on JAG for a short time. Though, she did continue to act and even produce projects. Many grew to love her after her performance as P.J. Franklin for the series, My Boys.

In addition, you may have seen her as Detective Jenna Villette on The Good Wife or even in the role of Rachael Miller for Harry’s Law. Her later roles include playing Rachel for Ozark and also Sarah Weller in Blindspot.

Michele Dalcin

Michele Dalcin actually acted as a few different characters for JAG. Her acting career was not very long lived after the show. Although, Dalcin did play Miriam in The Long Ride Home, as well as portraying Mary Johnson for Grosse Pointe.

One of Dalcin’s final acting credits was for Redemption of the Ghost. Now, it seems Dalcin is enjoying retirement!

Crystal Carson

Although she played Commander Carpenter for JAG, Carson is best known as General Hospital‘s Juliet Barrett. Maybe you also saw her as Lydia on Club 5150. However, she’s changed gears slightly since her time on the big screen.

Now, Carson works as an acting coach. You’ve probably even heard of some clients she’s had, like, Jennifer Beals and Paula Abdul. Pretty impressive!

Marcy Kaplan

Before this star appeared as Millie on JAG, she rose to fame as Marlo Ungerschtemer for the show, Days Of Our Lives. After, Kaplan acted on Strong Medicine and also Strange Hearts. Her role as Marnie Lapper in The Pre Nup probably made her the most famous.

Acting is not all this talented woman does though! She’s a writer too! However, Kaplan doesn’t seem to be very active in Hollywood these days.

Shaw Jones

Though Shaw Jones had multiple roles on the show, fans know him best for his other roles. His more famous performances were as Sam in The Letter or Leo in The Heist. 2018 is a big year for him because he was in several shorts and movies that finally come out in 2018.

He’s Robert Perkins for Blue (2018) and Stringer for the film, End of Sentence starring Logan Lerman. You can also see him as Owen for the short called, The Fifth of November.

Guy Garner

Now, back during the JAG days, Guy Garner had the role of Lt. Tom Hart. Of course, it was just a small part, so you may not recognize him.

However, since then, this actor and writer has been very busy with various projects, like, his role as Anthony in Assassins Tale. However, that role in 2013, was his last listed acting credit.

Laura Putney

Do you remember Catherine Gale from JAG? If so, then you recognize this actress, Laura Putney, who portrayed Catherine on the show. Also a writer, Putney is best known for JAG, ER and Cake.

Also, she was in many episodes of ACME Saturday Night. Actually, Cake was her final acting credit. Maybe she decided to retire early or pursue writing!

Loryn Locklin

Like some of her other JAG costars, things slowed down for Locklin after her role on the show. She played Jill Waddington on the show. This actress was born in L.A. and is best known for her performances in Fortress, JAG and Taking Care of Business.

Since JAG was her final acting credit, we can only assume she’s been happily enjoying retirement with her child that she had with ex-husband Victor Drai.

Jack Conley

Back on JAG, Conley played Commander Bob Stanich. However, many know this actor for other works he has been in. Maybe you saw him in other mystery or crime genre shows and films like, The Purge: Anarchy, Fast & Furious or Traffic.

Besides that work, he played Detective Danny Sportelli for NCIS and voiced for the kids’ show, Doc McStuffins. He’s married to theater actress Francesca Casale. Recently, he was Jeb Turner for Desolate.

Seth Jaffe

Now, here is an interesting change of direction. Of course, Jaffe had the role of Colonel Warren on JAG. However, things really changed for this actor/writer after that role. Well, he did appear on NYPD Blue twice and in a short, New York to Malibu. However, he’s best known as a sober coach on the A&E show, Relapse.

This New York actor took his negative experiences in life and transformed that past to help others in need. How inspirational!

Mario Schugel

During JAG, Mario Schugel had the role of Lt. Medwick, also known as Tuna. Schugel is also known for playing Braedon O’Connor on the show, The Division.

In addition, this actor has appeared on numerous shows like, ER, Charmed and Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. More recently, he played Will for a short called, The Firefly Girls.

Laurence Lau

On JAG, he was Dr. Lawrence Gettis. Actually, this star began acting in the late 60’s. Since his role as Dr. Gettis, Lau has been on many shows like Law & Order. Also, he played Brian Wheatley on As the World Turns and Greg Nelson for the show, All My Children.

More recently, Lau played Cecil’s dad for the television film, The Bar Mitzvah Club.

Thomas Anthony Jones

For JAG, Thomas Anthony Jones actually had a number of roles like, Special Agent Dobbs and the Navy Captain. Jones continued acted and right after his roles on JAG, he guest starred on Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. If you’re a huge fan, you may remember he played the Valet Offendee during “The Surrogate” who Larry of course, pisses off.

Anyway, he also played Galloway on the series, Eve. However, this producer and actor is best known for playing Mr. Drake in #REALITYHIGH (2017).

Rick Pasqualone

Pasqualone played the roles of Captain David White and Lt. Kyle for JAG. Now, this is a neat role…Pasqualone voiced for the video game, The Sopranos: Road to Respect and naturally, also voiced for HBO: The Making of ‘The Sopranos: Road to Respect’.

So, anyway, this actor also voiced for Family Guy and played Charles Michaelson on the show, All My Children. Also, he plays Earnest Sevier Cox in The Marcus Garvey Story (2018).

David Quane

For JAG, this actor played both a Seahawk Pilot and the Chief Petty Officer Basilio.

Producer and actor, Quane has many credits to his name, but he’s well known for his role in FDR: American Badass! Also, he recently played Henry Kesha for Range 15, a zombie apocalypse film.

Sibel Ergener

On JAG she played Lt. Elizabeth Hawkes, better known as Skates. Since 2001, this star has been married to Peter D. Galindez, thus now she’s Sibel Galindez. Together, they have two kids.

Now, the crazy thing is that she met this real life Jag Lt. while filming a JAG episode on a nuclear-powered carrier! Besides her acting on shows like JAG, she also served as the assistant director for a community theater in Rhode Island. Now, she lives with her family in Virginia because her husband serves there.

John Walcutt

Maybe you know this actor and producer, John Walcutt, from his role as Reporter Roy in the hit film Seabiscuit.

Besides that, he is known as Tom Johnson and even Caleb Farmer from JAG. He’s also starred in various films like Virtuosity and Termite: The Walls Have Eyes.

Gary Graham

California native Gary Graham is an actor and producer, better known to JAG fans as Captain Tobias Ingles. Anyway, he’s also known for his performance as Detective Matthew Sikes in the TV show Alien Nation and of course, the subsequent films.

Funny thing is, he started as a pre-med major at the University of California but then switched his focus to acting after having difficulty maintaining a 4.0. Now, this star has had over 38 television roles and starred in more than 40 films!

Claudette Nevins

Born Claudette Weintraub, this actress is best known for roles in Star Trek: Insurrection, Sleeping with the Enemy and Tuff Tuff. Previously, married to Elliot Howard Nevins, she’s now married to Benjamin Levy Pick and they have two children. Anyway, she was Mrs. Porter Webb in JAG.

Since then, her only credit was two episodes of Strong Medicine. Although, she’s been active with the Antaeus Company and done staged readings of many famous plays like Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey into Night.

Scott Haven

Perhaps, you remember Scott Haven as the Chief of Chaplains from JAG. Since then, this actor has kept busy as a guest on shows like, Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters.

However, fans recognize him best from his work on Star Trek: First Contact and also Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Sean Murray

Aw who remembers this actor from Hocus Pocus in which he played the ghost boy turned cat, Thackery Binx?

Anyway, after that he was Danny Walden and also Ensign Terry Guitry on JAG. Since then, he’s also been recognized most for playing Timothy McGee on NCIS. Murray is married Carrie James with two kids.

John Roselius

Now, this actor has starred in more than 200 commercials, most notably the ‘This Is Your Brain on Drugs’ PSA. Anyway, he was Admiral Drake on JAG.

However, you probably saw him as Baron’s Manager in the hit movie Space Jam. He also had parts in The Truman Show and Con Air. JAG was his final acting credit.

Bill Bolender

Most recognize him as Elmo Blatch from The Shawshank Redemption.

Bolender is also known for playing Sheriff Turner in the movie Dante’s Peak and for his role in RoboCop 2. Recently, he played Ben in the film Looking Glass (2018). Oh and in JAG, this actor and artist played Captain Ross.

Giuliana Santini

Before JAG, Giuliana played Gina Sloan for the show Homefront.

Then, she went on to take the role as Francesca Paretti on JAG. Besides those roles, she’s guest starred in shows such as, ER and Chicago Hope. Santini’s final acting credit is in the movie Room 101.

Vladimir Skomarovsky

In one JAG episode he played Israeli Miniter Barruch, but then he took on the role of Colonel Mikhail Parlovsky for JAG.

This Ukranian born actor is better known for roles in 2010 and Fatal Attraction. He has been appearing in many shows and films since. Most recently, he was Boris Kutenko for the movie, American Dream.

Jameson Parker

Everyone knows Jameson Parker As A.J. Simon from the CBS show Simon & Simon and the same character on Magnum, P.I. and Whiz Kids. He also had a role back in the 60’s on ABC’s show One Life to Live.

On JAG, his final acting credit, he was the CIA Deputy Director named Harrison Kershaw. Back in 1992, he was shot twice by his neighbor after an argument over dog waste. Luckily, he made a speedy recovery and the man was sent to prison for nine years. Most recently, he voiced the narrator for the documentary called Endangered Species: California Fish and Game Wardens (2009). He also wrote a memoir called An Accidental Cowboy.

Ben Murphy

Not only did Ben Murphy play JAG‘s Lt. Colonel John Farrow, but he was also Captain Neilsen on the show. However, most know him for his performance as Kid Curry on Alias Smith and Jones, or on Medicine Woman and Dr. Quinn.

Believe it or not, Murphy’s television and film career spans over 50 years! In addition to acting, he plays tennis and even was top seeded in Southern California at one point. His final acting credit was as Professor Campbell in The Genesis Code.

David Ackert

Now, David Ackert is not your average Hollywood actor. Even though he played both Wahib Shawaf and Captain Balducci on JAG, he’s done so much more. Yes, he’s acted in shows like CSI: Miami and Monk but his final credit is as an Iranian Officer in 5th & Alameda.

However, Ackert is a published author whose work has been in the LA Times, the Wall Street Journal and much more. He’s a business development mentor and President of The Ackert Advisory and founder of a pipeline management software called Practice Pipeline.

Ali Afshar

Afshar played Osman Rashid on JAG. After Ali Afshar and his family fled the Iranian Revolution, they settled in California and Ali soon found himself in the high school wrestling community. Now this producer and actor has appeared in tons of projects and even told his family story in the Warner Bros. production, American Wrestler: The Wizard, starring Jon Voigt.

He told The Washington Times, “This movie is about me and my family. Obviously we made it a more entertaining story, so we took some Hollywood liberties. But the whole theme of this movie is hope, inspiration — showing the American dream.” This incredible star is still acting today, as shown with his recent role as Cyrus in the movie Motocross.

Catherine Bell

Naturally, after Bell played the famous Mac, Lt Colonel Sarah MacKenzie, she had no trouble finding work. Catherine Bell landed roles like Denise Sherwood in Army Wives and Cassie in The Good Witch on Hallmark’s show and movie.

Additionally, this practicing Scientologist served as the Grand Marshal for none other than the NASCAR Cup Series in 2007.
