Also, you have to remember that at the time, she was around 65 years old. That makes the fact that she did her stunts even more incredible! I mean, this incredible actress fell and sank in quicksand and even fell into the lagoon!

Out of the entire cast, Dawn Wells made out best, financially speaking, from the show. How, you ask? Luckily, Dawn Wells’ husband was a TV show agent and warned her that she needed to add a clause within her contract. In the fine print, Wells was advised to add that she would receive royalties for any syndication Gilligan’s Island earns. Now, think about how Gilligan’s Island still plays on daytime TV occasionally. So, Dawn is still getting checks from her time on the show.
