Everyone knows that we only had three seasons and three films of Gilligan’s Island. However, Schwartz did have more than a clue as to what a fourth movie would look like. Apparently, he wanted to have a story line around a nuclear war. He planned that the castaways would learn they were the only humans left. Thus, Gilligan and Mary Ann would marry and Ginger and the Professor would wed. Both couples were to have kids. Then, when Gilligan’s son turned 20, he would sail off and find out the world was never destroyed. The characters had heard it over the radio, but Gilligan accidentally broke their radio before the disclaimer came on.
