Powerful Cosmic Rays

Thank Albert Einstein for the theory of relativity and its application to the GZK Limit. I know, my head is already spinning, however, it’s important! The GZK Limit sets a suggested ceiling on just how powerful cosmic rays can be whenever they hit Earth and filter throughout the atmosphere. Recently though, scientists at the Akeno Observatory of Japan found powerful cosmic rays that blew through this recommended ceiling. Additionally, the source of the powerful rays has yet to be identified and further research provides more questions than answers.
