Powerful Cosmic Rays
Thank Albert Einstein for the theory of relativity and its application to the GZK Limit. I know, my head is already spinning, however, it’s important! The GZK Limit sets a suggested ceiling on just how powerful cosmic rays can be whenever they hit Earth and filter throughout the atmosphere. Recently though, scientists at the Akeno Observatory of Japan found powerful cosmic rays that blew through this recommended ceiling. Additionally, the source of the powerful rays has yet to be identified and further research provides more questions than answers.

Every year the Monarch Butterfly goes on a migration journey of thousands of miles, which takes months upon months. Monarch Butterflies then lay eggs when they reach the end of their journey and then they die off, giving them a life cycle of only six months. However, the newborn butterflies know what is the the exact route home. Which begs the question, how do they know?
