Susanna Kaysen penned an emotional 1993 memoir about her 18 month stay at a mental institution, where she was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. Girl, Interrupted, the film, is a loosely based adaptation of the raw and powerful memoir.

Cinderella Man follow’s the true life story of the heavyweight boxing champion James J. Braddock, A.K.A. Cinderella Man. During the Great Depression, Braddock was forced to work hard-labor jobs due to his broken, injured hand. However when an opportunity to step back into the ring presented itself, Braddock would go on to fight and win. The money he won was then donated to charity and used to pay the government assistance fund back. Cast and crew received tons of critical accolades for their breathtaking work.
