What Is It?
An escape room, also known as an “escape game”, is a physical adventure game. Players must solve puzzles and riddles to complete the objective at hand in order to escape the room! Clues, hints and strategies are used to figure out the exit strategy…this is a group effort! There is a set time-limit in place to complete the puzzle by. Most escape rooms are set in spooky fictional locations such as haunted houses, dungeons and prison cells. The puzzles and riddles in each escape room usually coincide with the theme of the room; prison cell, think of handcuffs and prisoner cells!

Escape rooms are so great because they are for the whole family! You and your little ones will have a blast trying to figure out how to escape the room…it’s a real-live puzzle! Not only are they perfect for the family on a rainy day, they’re also a great spot for a date! You’ll get super close with your significant other trying to figure out this exciting game…and you’ll have great stories to tell your friends! What Is The Cost?
Although we wish this fun-filled activity was inexpensive, it is actually quite pricey. Most escape rooms around the world charge $25 to $30 per person for a 1 hour game. For a family of four that’s give or take $100. Going to the movie theater is a cheaper option…but, escape rooms are hands-on, offering an educational experience. Money can’t buy that!
