How could we make this list without including the wife of Bill Gates? Actually, Melinda was working for Microsoft when she met her current husband. They have been together for more than 20 years. Like some others on our list, they have devoted much of their fortune to charity causes. They’re not worried about a financial advisor to save the majority of the fortune for themselves. In fact, they pledged to donate half of the $88.5 billion to charity over their lifetime. What an amazing thing!
