The world knows author James Patterson best for his fiction based on the character Alex Cross, a psychologist. Since 1976, this star author has written 147 novels. Oh and he’s sold more than 300 million copies of his books around the world. A lot of his stories have been adapted to screens like, Women’s Murder Club, Zoo and Along Came a Spider. As of 2016, he topped Forbe’s list of highest paid writers for the third year in a row with his $95 million.
