Some may say women in their 20’s cannot quite compare to all that is Iman, even today! Well, this former model used to grace the covers of Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue. Back when she studied at the University of Nairobi, she was discovered. Once, she retired from her modeling career, she tied the knot with singer David Bowie and started a cosmetics line. Did you know, back during her college days she did photography to cover her tuition fees? Iman is also known for her charitable work with non profits that help children in need.

Anyway, now we know her for her roles in films like, Casanova, Chocolat, The Reader, The Unbearable Lightness of Being and Queen of the Damned. She’s been happily married to Swedish director Lasse Hallström since 1994. Oh, let’s not forget this remarkable woman was crowned Miss Scandanavia back in 1974! Incredible!
