Sissy Spacek
We all remember Sissy Spacek from Badlands and then the film adaption of Stephen King’s Carrie. Spacek was a huge star in the 70’s because of those stellar performances. Sadly, the tabloids would not leave her alone. She battled addiction, but has come out the other side. She’s a role model for everyone. Now, we continue to celebrate this actress, even for more recent roles like, In the Bedroom, Tuck Everlasting and The Help. She shows us Hollywood doesn’t have to mean cosmetic surgery and liposuction for all. Spacek truly focuses on her work and stays humble.

Audrey Hepburn
During Hollywood’s Golden Age, Audrey Hepburn represented the top of the top. Yes, she was a fashion and film icon, but oh so much more. This lovely leading lady also became a celebrated humanitarian and fought for justice off screen. Hepburn is known not just for films like, My Fair Lady, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Roman Holiday, but as a critical advocate for UNICEF. Sadly, she passed away in 1993.
