Raising Awareness
As a first-time mother, Tori felt a mixture of emotions during her own breastfeeding experiences. Thus, the issue became quite personal and close to her own heart. She explained, “I still feel awkward in public when I feed my baby. Why should I?” Many women try speaking out but get ignored or silenced when talking about it. Thus, Tori received wide spread praise for using her platform to speak out, especially on behalf of those women who had been ignored.
