The Many Faces Of Elizabeth Montgomery
Yes of course, Elizabeth Montgomery played our favorite witch, Samantha in Bewitched. However, actresses always need to be quite flexible in television, and Elizabeth Montgomery was fully prepared to handle this. Thus, she also played the part of Samantha’s cousin named Serena. You remember Serena! She was a hippie and more progressive witch who really annoyed Samantha. However, did you notice that Serena’s mark on her cheek changed shape every episode from things like a fish to heart? Even though the resemblance is unmistakable, when Elizabeth Montgomery first put on her Serena wig, she fooled some of the show’s staff. In the credits, Serena’s role was credited to ‘Pandora Spocks,’ which was a play on Pandora’s Box.
