Grimes Turned Role Down For Odd Reason
Yes, actress Tammy Grimes turned the lead role in Bewitched down after reading the script, but why? Well, apparently she imagined if a real witch existed, this hypothetical witch would spend all her time saving the world of its problems. Thus, she did not believe the witch would also be able to tend to her home. Seems a bit specific for a sitcom, but hey, she had her right to her own artistic vision!
