Phoebe Cates
Ah, how can we forget Phoebe Cates of Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Gremlins? Cates pursued acting after those two roles, but she would eventually retire in 1994 so that she can focus on raising her kids. She only appeared in The Anniversary Party (2001) in order to help a friend out.
