Like most celebrities, she doesn’t discuss politics often. However, Celine was not able to hold back after the Hurricane Katrina disaster in 2005. In one of her appearances on Larry King Live, she criticized the US government for the slow response to help the victims. Celine also donated $1 million dollars for the relief operations.
