Unpaid Events
Many of those extra events the cheerleaders attend are NOT paid. However, they’re contractually obligated to attend all of these galas and charity parties. Oh and if they’re selling raffle tickets at a game they aren’t cheering at, then they’re not even being paid. They only get paid if they cheer. Some of the cheerleading squads don’t get any of the proceeds from raffle tickets or calendars they sell.
