Believe it or not, the Cincinnati Bengals cheerleaders are told, “No panties are to be worn under practice clothes or uniform, not even thong panties.” A very intrusive rule indeed, but that isn’t all. It also says, “No slouching breasts. Support as needed. Black or nude seamless bra mandatory for games. No lace.” Basically, everything is dictated to them down to their undergarments. When former Bengals cheerleader Alexa Brenneman sued the franchise, these rules became public.

Among their strict rules for attire, are some intense rules about what they can and cannot wear off the field and in public. Even when they’re not in uniform or working, they need to abide by these rules. One such rule many NFL cheerleader handbooks include is that “wearing sweatpants in public is forbidden.” The Times reported this absurd rule.
