All of the attention she was receiving, especially from men, didn’t phase her. She didn’t act on any of the marriage proposals or comments about her beauty, she just let the comments and likes roll in. Claire knew that if she replied to anyone, the attention would be too much, she wouldn’t be able to escape it. Besides she didn’t want to encourage anything or send the wrong message to someone.
