Sgt. Bass kept true to his word and continued to take her to drive, but Jayleysa Corbett still felt nervous when he asked to meet up with her. After all, the weather was fine, and she had no idea why the police officer would want to see her. Regardless of how she felt, she complied and went to the Sheriff’s Office as requested.
