Since Dirty Dancing was such a phenomenal hit around the world, there were rumors of a sequel in the making. Nevertheless, Swayze really hated the idea of sequels, and turned down the offer. It wasn’t just any old offer either. Swayze actually turned down a $6 million offer to be cast as Johnny again. Now that’s some determination!
