Wollman Rink Renovation
It took a lot of missing deadlines, over-budgeting, and bureaucracy, but Donald Trump got the contract to fix up the Wollman Rink in Central Park. The city of New York awarded it to him in June 1986. The renovations were completed by December. Donald Trump literally left a mark on the attraction because you will find his logo on the rink railing! He donated part of the profit to public works and charities.
