After the Hill family won this mindboggingly large sum in the lottery, they succeeded in pocketing for themselves roughly 136.5 million dollars “in a lump-sum payment” after taxes. Following the completion of these local projects, the family could have opted to take a completely new path and with that amount of money, it was possible for them to live anywhere they wanted and in whatever type of home they wanted. However, the Hill family decided to do something regarding their living situation which left a lot of people who knew about their story scratching their heads.
