Patti Smith
We will not condemn you if you do not know who Patti Smith is. She’s not the most traditional individual on the list, after all. Despite being an independent artist, her music is undeniably sweet. She was one of the key names in the New York City punk movement of the ’70s. Her debut album is called “Horses” and has influenced numerous people in the field. In the year 2017, she joined the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
