Haunted Island Of Poveglia
Just between Lido and Venice, you’ll find Poveglia Island. Trust us, you don’t want to even go to this island. Back in the 18th century, they buried those who perished from the Black Death there. Over 100,000 people have died on the island through the last few decades. No wonder people say it’s haunted! Also they used to have a hospital and asylum on the island, where rumor has it, a doctor performed lobotomies!
