Jimi Hendrix
Jimi Hendrix managed to become one of the most unique and critically-acclaimed artists of all time in his 27 short years on earth. He took the stage at Woodstock, but he performed for very few individuals because of his complete lack of fame at the time. More people have known Jimi than any other guitar player on earth as the best guitar player who ever lived. His ability to make sounds that have never come from a guitar is legendary.
