While Travolta and his sister and even mother were always interested in the arts, his father was on a different path. Actually, his dad, Salvatore Travolta, used to play as a quarterback for a semi-pro team. Once he retired from football, he opened his own tire story called The Travolta Tire Exchange. He watched his family chase their dreams until his death in 1995.
