Since Costco does not have a brewery of their own, they outsource their brewing, which includes their craft beer. Bricks and Barley Brewery in Steven’s Point Wisconsin makes the Kirkland Signature Craft Beer, which is comparable to the beers that the Boston Beer Company makes. The Kirkland Beer comes as part of a variety pack which has 24 bottles and sells for $19.99 (since all of the bottles are craft).

Another part of the $20 variety pack of craft-brewed beer is the Kirkland Signature Pale Ale. It got a score of 74/100 on Beer Advocate, so it is far different from the infamous Kirkland Light Beer, the one that got retired after it received so many negative reviews. The light beer just wasn’t good enough when compared to other brands. As for the Pale Ale, it is brewed in Issaquah, Washington.
