Lakers Part Owner
Before those adventures in Scandinavia, he became a minority owner of the Lakers. In 1994, he allegedly paid about $10 million for a four percent stake in the Lakes. Thus, he became a Lakers minority owner before he sold his share to Patrick Soon-Shiong in 2010. However, he continued on as an unpaid VP before coming back in 2017 as an advisor to Jeanie Buss.
