He’s very involved in Democratic political campaigns as well. Johnson created a special pre-paid MasterCard in order to help those with low income save money. Back in 1994, the Lakers were looking to replace their head coach Randy Pfund. Thus, Magic Johnson came in as the new head coach. First, things were looking up. The team won five out of the six first games with Johnson. Then they lost five games and Magic resigned as coach.
