There are several sports where height is a clear advantage. There is no doubt that volleyball is one of them. We are sure that Aleksey Kazakov benefitted from his domineering stature. The Russian athlete has brought home medal after medal when he competed in the 2000 Sydney Games and the 2004 Athens Games. He bagged a silver and a bronze, respectively. Back in those days, he also helped Russia bag the bronze model at the European Championships. The competition was held in Ostrava in 2001.

Mohammad Irfan is the only cricket player on our list. In the past couple of years, he has been a big part of the Pakistani national team. He is not only one of the tallest people in the sport, but he also worked hard to achieve his current physique. However, he has recently been in hot water. In 2017, he was suspended after he was accused of corruption. At any rate, he received a lot of praise in 2013. That was the time that he showed off his fast bowling skills in South Africa.
