However, it looks like the store did not keep this promise. The New York Post recently ran a story about the methods used by the shop. It talked about a TikTok video posted by an employee by the name of Morgan. The post revealed that the baked goodies are all delivered to the store frozen! If you want fresh goodies, it is in your best interest to get them from a different store. Trust us, you will see a difference in taste!

The fries from this fast food joint simply stay beneath the heat lamps for many hours. ZebraHerder, a Reddit user who worked at Wendy’s, explained, “Cooked fries would sit for hours, so would baked potatoes. Nothing unsanitary about this, it just makes for some limp fries and dry potatoes.” Not only that, but they also said, “Like others have said, you can ask for fresh fries and we’ll passive-aggressively make you a new batch.” A New York Times article on frozen fry giant Wallace McCain said that the fries are not fresh since they are delivered frozen. Basically, the Redditor was saying that they will heat up a new batch of fries, not actually cook them.
