Like Erikas Plucas and his moose rescue, Lithuanian-born Darius Sasnauskus also came across something odd in nature. Sasnausksas lives right on top of Yellowstone National Park, so he was used to seeing wildlife up close and personal. However, one day while observing a family of deer, he saw something that troubled him.

Nature’s Cruel Reality
As Darius Sasnauskus looked on, he noticed that one of the fawn was trailing behind the other deer. Strangely, the fawn also had a bit of blood on its belly. Clearly, it was born that very day, but sadly, its front leg was injured. Thus, the baby deer couldn’t keep up with the other deer, and the rest of the herd left the fawn behind.
