Allegations Surface
Back in 2009, allegations about Morgan Freeman engaging in a romantic relationship with his step-granddaughter, E’Dena Hines, surfaced. Morgan Freeman responded in 2012 saying, “The recent reports of any pending marriage or romantic relationship of me to anyone are defamatory fabrications from the tabloid media designed to sell papers.”

However, these allegations resurfaced when Hines’ boyfriend, Lamar Davenport, was on trial for her murder. For some reason Davenport’s lawyer spoke out in court in 2018 to say, “E’Dena Hines disclosed to Lamar Davenport and others that her grandfather engaged in a sexually inappropriate relationship with her.”
