If you’ve seen the The Revenant, you know what we are talking about. In the film, Leonardo DiCaprio’s character explores a previously untouched area of nature in the early 1800s. The hiker Robert Biggs had a similar experience where he almost died in the woods in Northern California.

While Robert Biggs was hiking in north-central California back in the spring of 2012, he never expected to find himself facing death. As he hiked the trail, he came across a mother bear with her cub. He even stopped to watch the family for a bit. Then he decided to continue on with his hike.
