Linda Ronstadt

Musician Linda Ronstadt famously began performing at West Hollywood’s Toubadour nightclub. Yes, you probably know her by her nicknames, the “First Lady of Rock,” or “Queen of Rock.” Over the span of her career, she won 10 Grammy Awards and had over 30 gold and platinum records. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2012 and this led to her retirement since she was no longer able to sing. Ronstadt wrote a memoir in 2013 about her experience in the spotlight called Simple Dreams: A Musical Memoir.
