Her first acting job came when she landed a role in the crime thriller, Once Upon a Time in America. Soon, Connelly got her first lead in the horror movie, Phenomena. Ever since the 80’s, she’s continued to land roles and even won an Oscar for her performance in A Beautiful Mind. She’s also starred in Blood Diamond, Requiem for a Dream and American Pastoral.
