In addition to making a world record that hasn’t existed before, Nadia did so when she was just 14 years old! This record is even more incredible because she will forever remain the youngest athlete to have achieved this amazing feat seeing as the Olympic committee has set 16 years old as the youngest age to be eligible for the competition.

After successfully getting multiple perfect scores, it was time for another award ceremony. One of the officials asked 14 year old Nadia how she was feeling about making history. As the world waited with bated breath for her reply, the young athlete then said, “It’s okay. I’ve gotten 19 golds in other competitions.” Now that’s confidence!
