In April 2014, researchers had been tracking birds in Tennessee when they realized they were no longer in Tennessee. After consulting their geo-locators, they came to the realization the animals had flown all the way to Florida! One was even in Cuba. Several days later, the birds returned to Tennessee, effectively completing a 900-mile trip. The researchers believe the birds detected the low-frequency infrasound accompanying the storms.
