They Had One In The Boat
With their fishing net holding company, the fishermen gave the cub one last big push! He had been rescued, and he could finally unwind. This bear would be able to live another day! Everyone was ecstatic, but there was no time to rejoice. Don’t forget about the other bear in the water who was running out of juice! The good news was that they had proven to themselves that they could accomplish the seemingly impossible. The bad news was that the second cub had not yet boarded the ship, necessitating even more power to save it.
It Wasn’t Simple
It wasn’t getting him into the ship that was difficult. The fishermen accomplished that. The first order of business was to locate the baby bear. They needed to figure out a way to get the cub to the ship’s side so they could take him on board. It wasn’t an easy task. They shifted the boat closer to the cub, who was too frail to hold on at this point. They placed the net under him and hoped and prayed that it would work again, this time supporting the bear’s entire weight!
