Su Yun continued in her quest for more information. Little Black was not a normal black bear, he was an Asiatic Black Bear! Even though the type of bear that Little Black was, was that of a medium sized bear, he still had the potential to reach up to 440lbs and be over 6ft tall. A traditionally herbivorous; they had aggressive tendencies when aggravated. During her investigation, Su Yun also discovered that owning a bear in China was punishable by jail, considered a crime. She was in quite a pickle.

Contact With The Zoo
Despite her love for Little Black; over two years together and you can certainly build a bond, she knew he was a danger to have in the house and had to go. Little Black was a large bear though, how could she safely find him a new home? Su Yun had the idea to call the local zoo, seeing if they could house Little Bear. Despite wanting to help, the zoo was unable to accept the bear without a birth certificate. Su Yun only had one other option at this point, and despite not wanting to do it, she had no choice.
