Making A Murderer is a documentary series that revolves around the questionable conviction of Steven Avery who served an 18-year prison sentence for sexual assault and murder. He was fully exonerated when DNA evidence proved his innocence of the crime in 2003. The series was filmed over a ten-year period, with filmmakers shuttling between Wisconsin and New York. The audiences were gripped throughout the first season that premiered in December 18, 2015. Netflix has announced that the next season will be released on October 19. Although they have remained tight-lipped on the content of the next series, this will definitely be one to watch.
