Alexa and Katie follows the lives of two high school best friends. When Alexa finds out she has cancer, she is thankful to have her best friend Katie by her side to help her through everything. However, this leaves them feeling and thinking that they are outsiders in a world and at a time that they want to fit in. Together they try to navigate their way through high school as they deal with Alexa’s cancer. Thankfully, this heartwarming series has been renewed for another season by Netflix. However, Netflix is still silent as to when season 2 will air.
